| To understand me is just about impossible. the best place to start is my website galleries [link] I am a photographer who likes stageing exhibitions for the fun of it. I have been a published author and poet, dabled in oil painting and drawing. I have pottery in New Zealand and Holland ... somewhere. I love to see and photograph beauty, no hidden agenda, what you see is what you get, nothing more. Every year my village puts on a festival. In 2008 I staged my exhibition of pictures taken during the previous 12 months. 1500 images were displayed. In 2009 my second exhibition was shown with over 1900 images. (Cost is horrendous, time is short and the effort is exhausting), I do it because people seem to like it. I don't charge for admission, and the interest in the exhibition is widespread with requests for me to put work on the internet, so I am pleased to say that people from across the globe like my work. I just hope that fortune shines and I can continue to show that ordinary people can do good things. (an update to this is that fortune has passed me by, circumstances and finance will scupper the exhibitions after next year.) A thought, All us men like / love beauty, all the ladies who care dress to display that beauty, so why is it when you take their picture they regard you with suspicion? Observation,When I am abroad and point the camera at a beautiful woman she usually smiles and even, on occasion, poses. In England they present the sour face regardless of how pretty they look.
